Current Opportunities

Staff Training, Employment and Onboarding

For new starters, Initial induction and training is carried out on site by the Supervisor, and includes, but is not limited to; work schedules, methods and cleaning standards, Health and Safety, Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), First Aid and Fire procedures. This is recorded on an Induction Training Record, and signed by the Trainer and member of staff. All staff are trained to BICs industry standards. 


On-going Health and Safety training is provided through our Training Platform. Staff are sent an email asking them to take part in on-line training, and we are notified if it has not been done. Once it has been completed, they will receive an on-line certificate which can be view in their Employee portal. 


On joining Equity Cleaning Services, all members of staff are provided with a Contract of Employment and Employee Handbook, which covers employment terms, Health and Safety policies and general procedures. This is updated regularly with any company policy amendments, or with any changes to government guidelines, and the updates are distributed to all staff.

The management of Equity Cleaning Services Ltd. looks upon the promotion of Health & Safety measures as a mutual objective for themselves and their employees.

It is the policy of the company to do all that is reasonably practicable to prevent personal injury and damage to property, and to protect everyone, including the public, from any unforeseen hazard or danger, in so far as they come into contact with the company or its objectives.

In particular, the management of Equity Cleaning Services Ltd. recognises it’s responsibility to provide and maintain safe and healthy working conditions, to provide training and instruction to enable employees to perform their work safely, to maintain a continuing and progressive interest in Health & Safety, to consider all statutory requirements for Health & Safety, and to consult and involve employees in Health & Safety matters, where possible.

The management of Equity Cleaning Services Ltd. also recognise that it’s employees have a duty to co-operate in the implementation of the Health & Safety Policy by working safely, and by meeting their statutory duties and reporting incidents that have led to, or may lead to, injury or damage.
